Hospitality Team
The term “radical hospitality" can be defined as a practice of putting extraordinary effort and emphasis on making people feel welcome. Here at First UMC we have the desire to embody this kind of hospitality into everything that we do.
We are begining to ask individuals and families to partner with us on the journey towards radical hospitality. This is a great way for families, friends, and even Sunday school classes to serve together by signing up to greet for an entire "shift" in a particular area such as the Atrium or parking lot.
The shifts are divided into approximately 30 minutes. Shifts start 15 minutes before class or service and conclude 15 minutes after. You will never be more than 15 minutes late to a service or your Sunday school class.
