Genesis Children’s Choir Camp

Children in grades 1st -5th are invited to join the First UMC Genesis Children’s Choir for a day of music and fun! Children will participate in the Choir Olympics with musical games, explore instruments, and enjoy a screening of The Prince of Egypt that ties into our special worship song for the Spring. Lunch and snacks are provided. This is a great opportunity for children to bond and grow in our music ministry. Please RSVP by December 31 to secure your spot. We can’t wait to see you there!

Kids Night Out is for ages 6 months to 5th grade. We play games, have a craft, and watch a movie. We will provide pizza and fruit for dinner. If your child has any allergies or will be providing an alternative meal, please contact us! Cost is $15 per child, $40 for a family of three or more children. Church Council Meeting & Work Session

Church Council will have a one hour work session prior to our next Church Council Meeting. We will gather at 4:30 on October 29 for one hour for the sole purpose of working through the stated goals of the various ministry areas. We will explore how those goals fit into the overall work of the Annual Conference to find congruence. Immediately afterwards, at 5:30 PM, we will gather for our regular Church Council Meeting. At that meeting, we will complete the preparatory work necessary for our Charge Conference this year.

Beach Club is a an after-school Christian program for 3rd-5th graders at Bayless Elementary. Volunteers are needed to lead small groups, and all materials are provided. In an hour the group has a snack, relay game, worship music, large group lesson and small group time.
