Dear Church Family,

As we approach the sacred season of Easter, we are reminded of the boundless love and sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is through His selfless act of giving that we are invited to live lives of mission and service to those around us—both near and far. At First United Methodist Church, we are committed to embracing this call of missional living, responding to Christ's love not only with our hearts but also with our hands, our time, and our financial resources.

Our annual Spring Missions Offering, which will run through April 27, is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and support the many missions that reflect Christ’s love in action. Through your generosity, we are able to provide thousands of meals each year to those in need, and reach out to both local and global communities with acts of service, compassion, and hope.

Mission is not just something we do—it is who we are. As followers of Christ, we are called to live lives that reflect His love and grace, serving others as He served us. When we give, whether through our time, our talents, or our financial contributions, we are not only meeting immediate needs but also sharing the hope of the gospel. Our Spring Missions Offering allows us to continue these vital missions and make a tangible difference in the lives of so many who are hungry, hurting, or in need of support.

This is an invitation to each of us to step into the joy of giving and to participate in what God is doing through our church. Whether you are able to give a little or a lot, your contribution is an act of worship and a powerful expression of your faith. As we reflect on the sacrificial love of Christ, let us consider how we, too, can give sacrificially, knowing that our offering will be used to bring His love and light into the world.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to missional living. Your support—both in prayer and in action—makes all the difference. May we continue to be a community that lives out Christ's love with open hearts and willing hands, sharing the good news of His resurrection in every way we can.

In Christ’s Love,
